We live in a world often cruel and idiotic.  but in our mind, we can attempt to control what we often cannot in society.
Tim Segrest is a 62-year-old retired Special Forces sniper who served in the U.S. Army for twenty years but has been retired since 2004, more than twenty years ago.
In addition, he has been diagnosed with Acute PTSD since 2008 and has been also diagnosed with complex PTSD in recent years. To further complicate his mental state, he has been diagnosed with degenerative spine disease, a traumatic brain injury, heart disease, and a multiple of physical diseases as well.
He is married and resides in Yuma, Arizona. Since 2004, he has turned to poetry to aid in his stabilization of life and its never-ending problems. He has also written many short stories and novels in that same period. Before his death, his goal is to help as many vets as possible deal with PTSD and the life changing problems they face.
